The Health Study of the Girona Counties Resumes Interviews in the Capital of the Alt Empordà in Two Phases to Offer New Participation Options.
Girostudi is returning to Figueres. The team resumes its activity in the capital of the Alt Empordà region to open a new period of visits and interviews, aiming to ensure that the reality and diversity of the city are well reflected in this pioneering public health study.
Figueres is a city with highly diverse realities. To provide greater convenience and adapt to the schedules of selected individuals, the research team has decided to structure this return in different phases. This way, collaboration will be more accessible and flexible, including during the summer months.
The New Schedule in Figueres
Data collection and personal interviews will resume imminently and will be divided into two blocks:
- Summer Phase: Girostudi will reactivate its activity in the city from June 30 to July 24.
- Fall Phase: After the August vacation break, the initiative will restart in Figueres starting September 8.
The Value of Local Data and Participation
This return to Figueres will complete the data collection process, providing an accurate and detailed snapshot of health at the local level. Having this “kilometer zero” data will pave the way for the municipality to design public health actions and policies tailored to its population’s reality in the future.
Community science is built through collaboration, and the value of every contribution is immeasurable. Whether you are young, an adult, or a senior, participation is essential. Being part of this initiative should be a source of pride for everyone, as it is a direct way to contribute to improving the well-being and quality of life for us all.
Therefore, if your interview is still pending or if Girostudi calls you for the first time these days, say yes!
Your step forward is what makes this turning point in our health possible.
