The leading public health project in the Girona region continues its journey, making its way into the Ripollès area. To bring the initiative closer to the public and explain first-hand how it works, the Girostudi technical team and Camprodon Town Council are organising an open meeting for all residents next Tuesday, 8 September, at 7:00 pm in the municipal assembly room.
Local knowledge to transform the region
Girostudi aims to analyse how our environment, lifestyle, and social factors influence the population’s well-being. This meeting will highlight the value of gathering real, local data in Camprodon—essential information that allows public authorities to plan services, improve public spaces, and promote health policies tailored to the town’s reality. Ultimately, this will help us understand what we need and what decisions must be taken so we can live healthier lives.
How the project works and how to take part
During the session, municipal representatives and the project’s technical team will explain the fieldwork methodology in detail. Over the coming weeks, randomly selected residents will be invited to join the study via an official invitation letter, followed by a phone call from the team. The talk will provide an opportunity to answer practical questions, explain how data confidentiality is guaranteed, and outline the official channels for identifying accredited staff.
